Hypnotherapy

PRIVATE SESSIONS · IN-PERSON ONLY · Eriksonian Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a powerful tool for implementing change in your life. By purposefully and systematically entering a hypnotic state, we can nurture physical and emotional balance on a subconscious level- which helps us in improving the quality of our lives.

Hypnosis can be described as simply an altered state of mind where the ‘unconscious mind’ is in control, while the ‘conscious mind’ is disengaged. It is a deeply relaxing state.

In Hypnotherapy sessions, we use this state of the subconscious in control to

  • induce positive changes and ideas into your life,

  • bring about healing,

  • change behavior

  • overcome fears and phobias

  • heal trauma and anxiety

  • deal with stress

  • conquer stress

  • loose weight

  • beat depression

About Eriksonian Hypnotherapy

Milton H Erikson was an American psychiatrist and the father of modern therapeutic hypnotherapy. Eriksonian Hypnotherapy is different from the type of authoritative and theatrical direct hypnosis we see stage performers use. It is gentler, using conversational and indirect methods to empower the unconscious mind in a gentle way, enabling clients, with guidance, to uncover for themselves certain patterns, habits, or repetitive thoughts that might be limiting them. It is very useful for healing and self-development.

As a client, you do not loose control, you are not forced to do anything against your will, and you are not influenced by direct commands made during hypnosis. Instead, through a voluntary and gentle trance-like state, the subconscious is allowed to communicate more effectively with the conscious mind. This enables you as the client to tap into your own inner resources.
